NTEU Elections: UTS Branch Nominations Open
Nomination forms now available for UTS Branch and NSW Division Positions
The NTEU conducts elections for nearly all positions every two years, and elections are conducted by the Australian Electoral Commission. Further details of the NTEU election process can be found here: http://www.nteu.org.au/myunion/about/elections
All nomination forms from UTS must be received by Returning Officer, Lee Jones, at the Australian Electoral Commission up to, but no later than 12 noon, Wednesday 27 June 2012. You must read the election notice carefully for instructions, including instructions on how to make a valid nomination and how to provide that nomination to the Returning Officer. Please do not send the nomination forms to the branch office/branch organiser.
Election notices and nomination forms have been circulated to UTS branch members this morning. UTS members were emailed one pdf attachment (containing the notice and form) at the email address they have registered with the branch.
A covering email was sent from email@example.com with the attached notice and form reading:
"Dear NTEU Members
