Library Activists Network Meeting- WA Division
Following on from the success of our first WA Division Libraries forum, the network is meeting again soon to discuss some of the issues raised at the sessions, and what we might be able to do about them.The Library Activists Network is now calling for new members to join. The Network aims to represent a cross-section of library workers from all campuses, with a mix of librarians, library technicians and other library staff, so that we may get as much input as possible about the issues important to all library workers.
If you are interested in becoming a part of the Activists Network, please get in contact with either the local Network rep at your workplace (see flyer) or Amy at the NTEU WA Division office 0437 225 128 atalbot@nteu.org.au.
Our next meeting has been moved to Monday 18 June at 4.30pm in the NTEU WA Division office at 97 Broadway Nedlands. Any interested library members are welcome to come

WA Division Libraries Forum Panellists announced
The NTEU WA Divison Library Activists Network is pleased to announce the panellists for the upcoming Library Forum “Is there a Future for Libraries”, to be held at Curtin University on June 8, from 1-4.30pm.
Innovative Tasmanian librarian Garry Conroy-Cooper will be the keynote speaker at the forum which will also hear from a diverse mix of interstate and local library staff panelists at both sessions:
