Bluestocking week @ UQ

Bluestocking week at UQ was celebrated with a forum and music on Monday 13 August.

Speakers included Jeannie Rea, National President of the NTEU, Helen Creese, School of Languages and Comparative Cultural Studies, Izzy Manfield and Johanna Qualmann both from the UQ Women's Collective. Together the speakers brough a lively and passionate dimension to the event, clearly showing that there are still many issues facing women staff and students in Higher Education. The event was topped off with a wonderful performance by Luna Junction.
