Media Coverage: 'Pass Marks can be Degrading' The Australian

An article today in The Australian looks at recent research on the alleged "soft marking" of international students.

Jeannie Rea is quoted stating that some academic staff have been pushed into a corner where there is a "squeeze on funding for universities and on the amount of time teachers have with students, and the increasing use of casuals, who aren't paid for seeing students out of class hours".
