NUS and NTEU to Kick off Blue Stocking Week soon!

The National Union of Students will launch their celebration of Blue Stocking week at the Eagle Bar, La Trobe University on Monday, 6th of August, starting at 6pm.

Speakers at the launch will be:

• Jane Garrett MP- Member for Brunswick
• Jeannie Rea- NTEU National President
• Clare Keyes Liley- La Trobe Student Union Pres  

 with Noni Sproule (NUS National Women's Officer) as MC.

NTEU's own celebration of Blue Stocking week will be launched nationally the week of 13 - 17th of August, where all  the country women will be invited to join in events that commemorate and celebrate women's particpation in higher education.
