UWA bargaining round heats up

On June 1st the UWA NTEU Branch mass meeting gave unanimous support for a motion that "Authorises the Branch Committee to begin preparations for a secret ballot to take protected industrial action in second semester, 2010." At that meeting the bargaining update focused attention on the lack of respect by the UWA Executive toward staff by withholding commitments toward a range of matters.
